About the role
We’re looking for a sponsorship or marketing star. This role plays a significant role in the the Partnerships (sponsorship) team of four, overseeing a bunch of well-known loved NZ & global brands who sponsor the charity, you will play a key role in helping these corporate partners bring their sponsorships to life through impactful cause-related sponsorship campaigns, activations and events.
You’ll need to have strong sponsorship and/or and marketing experience, with the ability to keep focused on the delivery of the annual plan resulting in revenue grow for the charity while also retaining and growing their key sponsors. Day to day you will;

About the role

This role plays a significant role in the the Partnerships (sponsorship) team of four, overseeing a bunch of well-known loved NZ & global brands who sponsor the charity, you will play a key role in helping these corporate partners bring their sponsorships to life through impactful cause-related sponsorship campaigns, activations and events.
You’ll need to have strong sponsorship and/or and marketing experience, with the ability to keep focused on the delivery of the annual plan resulting in revenue grow for the charity while also retaining and growing their key sponsors. Day to day you will;
- Manage an existing portfolio of trusted corporate sponsors, developing strong relationships that will deliver results for both parties.
- You’ll own the relationship with their Principal Partner, alongside a portfolio of other well-known corporate sponsors.
- Collaborate across the organisation to oversee the delivery and execution of agreed cause-related sponsorship campaigns, staff engagement initiatives and deliverables from your sponsorship portfolio.
- Work closely with the Partnerships Manager, ensuring effective forecasting of retention of sponsors and revenue,
- Develop and implement a comprehensive employment engagement programme for sponsors, working closely with their Volunteering Lead to deliver.
- Deliver impactful employee and Customer Experiences with key sponsors.
- 5+ years’ experience across the functions of sponsorship, marketing, brand and/or events – ideally within a corporate environment or a brand with a strong sponsorship strategy. Not-for-profit exposure is also a bonus.
- Relationship management, creativity, positive attitude, strategic thinking and being super organised are key strengths of yours – ideally you’ll have both corporate experience and some exposure to not for profit – or at least a passion for doing good!
- Exposure to the successful planning & delivery of small-scale events
- You’re focused on joining a cause-led organisation and having positive impact in your work!
