The role

An exciting opportunity to support on a 9-month fixed term basis to cover maternity leave.
You’ll be across all things HR, talent management and culture, developing and implementing policies and training to support the organisation and its employees.
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practice
  • Managing the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and retention of employees, including developing and executing sourcing strategies, conducting interviews, and negotiating compensation packages, alongside managing ongoing benefits
  • Overseeing the employee performance management processes, including setting best practice, evaluations, employee relations and providing coaching/feedback
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including employment laws, tax laws, and data privacy laws
  • Managing workplace concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and effective manner
  • Provide positive leadership and consistently motivate team members
  • Make independent decisions on routine issues and recommend solutions to management to overcome obstacles
  • Stay across operational approaches and strategies, supporting the company goals
  • Interact with and manage consultants and contractors worldwide as needed
About you
  • Proven experience developing and executing effective HR strategies and initiatives
  • You can speak to examples of where you’ve helped embed or develop processes
  • You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves – proactivity is in your DNA
  • Exposure to the world of start-ups is advantageous to hitting the ground running!
