Our client is on the hunt for an administration powerhouse to support the Funding and Submissions arm of their organisation! The successful candidate will thrive in a high volume and deadline-driven environment, possess a high attention to detail and be someone who can turn their hand to anything!

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain current, in-depth knowledge about nominated Funder's and their processes and requirements in relevant information systems
  • Manage the relevant system and keep application records updated
  • View and track applications made within a Funder’s portal
  • Identify any issues or mistakes made on every application and reverse that application within the relevant systems for the Researcher to make the required changes
  • Be responsible for submitting the final applications that come through and then updating the relevant systems that the submission has been made as well as notifying the Researcher and or Research Programme Manager/Coordinator
  • Record and send quantitative results and feedback received from Funder to the Researcher and or Research Programme Manager/Coordinator
  • Undertake Quality Assurance and compliance checks making sure Faculty approvals and Funder requirements are met before the application is submitted
  • Assist the Funds Advisors on setting up workshops and campaigns where required
  • Support and assist colleagues and wider teams to meet the objectives of the team and organisation as a whole
  • Identify and contribute to improvements that may help improve efficiency, productivity, and culture of the team

About you:

  • Tertiary degree or relevant qualification
  • Previous experience working in a high volume and deadline-driven administrative
    position and working with systems and databases
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate complex recommendations and proposal
    adjustments
  • Outstanding planning and organisation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to external deadlines
  • Ability to work through and with others – collaborative and collegial
