Our client, a charitable trust within the construction industry is looking for a Client and Industry Engagement Manager to join their small yet vibrant team on a 13-month maternity cover basis. You’ll have a creative yet strategic flare, be a natural relationship builder and have experience in implementing Marketing, Communications and Brand related projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible and accountable for high quality communications, stakeholder management and marketing activity that provides strong branding and connection with industry
  • Ownership of the communications and stakeholder strategy
  • Development, delivery and continuous improvement of the marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement strategy
  • Marketing, communications, and stakeholder manager support to the executive team
  • Create marketing materials such as brochures, videos, adverts and publications
  • Identification of the best channels for external communications
  • Production of internal and external communications collateral for the organisation
  • Write and proof all promotional content
  • Management of the organisation’s digital media channels (websites, apps, and social media content)
  • Provision of information for routine management reports
  • Collation and sharing of information and intelligence
  • Sourcing support items for events
  • Assist with day-to-day completion of projects
  • Organising, attending and running events, roadshows, toolbox talks

About you:

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Marketing and Communications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Graphic design or Communications
  • Design capabilities, including the use of design software (e.g. Indesign, Canva, Vimeo etc.)
  • Complex stakeholder management experience
  • A strong working knowledge of all things social and media
  • Be great at creating and implementing marketing and communication strategies
  • Experience in the coordination of events
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Be a creative and versatile writer with great verbal communication skills
  • Ideally have some knowledge of a construction, development or health and safety environment

Please note this is a part-time opportunity of approx. 20 hours per week worked over three consecutive days (with flexibility, but Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday works best for the existing team)
