Our client, a leading technology business solutions provider is looking for an internal IT Support Superstar on a permanent basis. A great opportunity for someone looking to be the go-to for all things IT within an innovative and dynamic environment, based in central Auckland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the IT Manager for the business, you will provide first line support for all IT requirements by troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as well as collaborate closely with the Director and third parties to ensure optimum utilization of office technology, timely introduction of standard IT products, and cost-effective IT solutions
  • Manage all internal needs, ensure requests are completed to their satisfaction and become recognised as the go to person across both Wellington and Auckland offices
  • Follow professional IT administration practices, e.g., create and update trouble tickets in a timely manner, link them to common problems, quickly identify/create pertinent knowledge objects to speed user repair for self/others, track all asset management activities
  • Maintain all current technology and communication needs for the business
  • Support and maintain existing applications and development of new technical solutions
  • Provide first line support for all business applications as the internal expert and escalate any issues to third parties when required
  • Assist when required with the selection of new applications for the business and lead the due diligence process
  • Eagerness to continue to develop industry knowledge that includes a deep understanding of the drivers, trends and opportunities to implement internally as appropriate
  • Provide reports as required
  • Provide generalist IT support to our external clients and stakeholders on an ad hoc basis

About you:

  • Have a technical support background with ideally 2+ years relevant experience
  • Excellent time management skills
