Our client, a well-respected charity in New Zealand is on the hunt for a Marketing Manager to join their team – initially on a 12 month maternity cover, but with scope to move into a permanent role. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager of Marketing as well as Marketing Coordinator and internal Design Support. You'll be a true generalist and develop go-to market plans campaigns (from strategy/creation to deliver) for existing and new offerings that support the mission of the organisation. You’ll have a desire to work in a cause driven organisation, be an active self-starter and have an innovative approach to Marketing!

Key responsibilities:

    • Develop annual marketing, communications and content plans to support
      marketing, fundraising and wider business goals
    • Oversee the development of relevant content to be utilised through all
      channels (digital, PR, collateral etc)
    • Educate internal teams about protecting and advancing our brand
    • Oversee the development of highly engaging, on-brand impactful
      content to engage a diverse range of audiences
    • Work with the Marketing Coordinator (content), in-house designer and
      external suppliers to guide the development of collateral and other
      materials
    • Production of excellent physical and digital content
    • Develop and deliver high impact marketing campaigns to support fundraising activity, drive awareness, increase understanding and develop a pool of potential supporters
    • Ensure all campaigns are within agreed budgets
    • Manage relationships of external suppliers to deliver campaigns (e.g. Advertising agency, PR agency, media agency, digital agency)
    • Ensure all front facing campaigns and activities are communicated effectively
    • Manage, support and develop the Marketing team,
    • Ensure all members of the Marketing team receive appropriate training,
      support and guidance to perform their roles to the required standards
    • Monitor the performance of individuals within the team on an ongoing basis
    • Oversee all inbound marketing activityS

    About you:

    • Tertiary qualified or relevant experience in business-related area
    • Minimum 4 years Marketing management experience
    • Commercially savvy go-getter
    • Maintains the highest standard of personal conduct in performing all duties
    • A strong customer service focus
    • Positive and enthusiastic attitude
    • Confident with a high degree of motivation
